Includes outtakes and deleted scenes. Roy and Moss are two IT staff working for a big company. But despite the size of the company, the two seem banished to the basement of the building. However, they seem to enjoy their locked-away existence, occasionally being tortured by moronic staff asking why their computer won't work, which is usually answered with, "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" The characters are likable, and the script is a joy. |

The IT Crowd - USA Pilot |
USA Pilot Episode : 1 episodes - 23 mins. Richard Ayoade reprised his role as Moss in the American adaptation of the series. However, NBC canceled the production as it was not picked up so watch this and make your own mind up why that was.. An america says...The IT Crowd is a very British show in the sense that it comes from a tradition of surreal sitcom that doesn’t really have an equivalent in America. The only point in a mainstream U.S. network taking on a show like this would be to reinvent it from the ground up, using storylines and characters merely as a jumping-off point, throwing away what’s not useful and keeping everything else. Judging by the pilot I saw, this was not what they had in mind. Well I hope that confused you as much as it did me. But then again I'm not a fan of many American sitcoms. |
